The Puerto Princesa City Foundation Day 2009 Friendship Games started today participated by the different tennis clubs in the area; the PPCTC (the host club), ABABTC, NFWTC, ITC and our club, the CNPTC. In the opening match, PPCTC was up against our club that show the tandem of Geri Dilig (PPCTC President) and Nimrod Sagun vs our club tested warriors, Dean Pe and Arnold Magbanua. The game lasted for more than one hour and was so close but our team still prevails in the end winning the tie break at the score of 8-7 (7-5). The day-long event was full of fun as players from the participating clubs shows extra-ordinary playing skills and talents not only in tennis but in videoke-singing that followed after the game ended at around 9:00 PM. Free snacks and foods were served during the whole day event commemorating the City Foundation Day courtesy of the City Government. Below are some of our tennis warriors in action…
